1. Open back of unit.
Unplug the power cable and the communication cable. Remove the back plate covering the motors.
2. Remove the wires from the motors.
Unplug the black and white wires from the motors. Note their locations.
The black wire is connected near the wrapped and ziptied bundle.
The white wire is connected where the copper wire extends from the coil.
These wires may be attached to the bracket with zipties. Carefully cut the zip-ties to free the wires.
3. Remove the ground wires.
Both motors have their ground wires attached to the same spot on the case.The ground wires may be removed from this spot using a 9mm socket wrench, or from the motor itself using a Phillips head screwdriver.
Removing them one way may be easier than the other, it is your choice.
4. Remove the motors from the unit.
Using an 11mm socket wrench, remove the eight nuts holding the motors, and remove both motors.
5. Remove the motors from their brackets.
Remove the four screws from each motor/bracket combination, and remove each motor from its bracket.
6. Place a bracket on the new motor and reinstall.
