Die in a bridge: height below margin line - defines the distance below the margin line to be scanned. Teeth annotation is done after scanning of the whole arch and separate dies is completed by placing the points on the margin line.
Single die: scanning height - the height of a single die to be scanned (when arch is not used).
Arch: scanning height - the height if the arch (from top down) to be scanned.
Select the scanner from the Current scanner drop-down menu.
Type the scanner's name in the Add scanner to list field (corresponding to the name of the connected PC; click Add to save.
Remove - remove the current scanner from the list. This makes it possible to work with scanners connected to different PCs.
Die scanning optimized for: Used when scanning separate dies only.
Speed - the scanning process will be fast, with a good (not high) model quality.
Details - the scanning process will be very slow, but the scanned model will be of high quality.
Arch scanning optimized for: Used to handle scanning resolution of arch scans for D800/D810 and D900/D900L.
Speed - the scanning process will be fast resulting, in a good (not high) model quality.
Details - the scanned model will be of high quality but the scanning process will be very slow.
Reset button - returns all sliders to their default positions.
Scan implant positions for wax-up implant bridges - enables scanning of implant positions for wax-up implant bridge.
Scan only implant wax bridge - scans nothing but the implant waxup bridge.
Use Multi die scanning - enables scanning of multiple dies.
Requires the following hardware or similar:
- D710/D810 scanner with the die feeder
- D900/D900L scanner with passive fixture
Scan when closing door - automatically initiates the scanning process after the scanner door is closed (and after the user is prompted to insert an object into the scanner).
