SUM3D is an open system that can accommodate most of the standard disc and rectangular options available in the market. This article will go over some of the different disc types that typically are available though to mill to help you select the correct stock shape type with discs. To enable the other disc sizes, update the Shape_list.dat by adding the additional values separated by a comma.
Round diam. 98 (Enabled by default, option 1)
This shape option is the the industry standard for disc shapes with the built in 10mm step. The 10mm step is located in the middle of the disc.

Round diam. 98->89 (Option 26)
This shape option is for 98mm discs that have a plastic ring instead of a built in step.
This is the same shape as the Round diam. 98 option but creates a buffer on the edge of the disc to prevent the material from breaking or getting cut by the tools.
Round diam. 98n (Option 2)
This shape option is for 98mm discs that have no step at all. Dimensionally the disc is 98mm wide.
Round diam. 98 v (Option 4)
This shape option is for 98mm discs that have a step on the bottom of the disc.
